Deanna Fox is the chief executive officer for New York Farm Bureau, where she leads the state’s largest general agriculture organization. With a robust membership of 11,000 farmers and rural advocates, she manages the operations and strategies for the organization and its advocacy group, nonprofit foundation and workers compensation insurance safety group.
Prior to accepting the role, she had nearly two decades of experience as a CMO, CCO, partner and journalist, working across the U.S. and internationally to develop storytelling and communications initiatives. She previously founded a start-up designed to maximize efficiency in food procurement systems.
Deanna is a firm believer in leading with empathy, the power of listening, and taking decisive and firm action.
She is open to collaboration and conversation on leadership, especially regarding sustainability, underserved communities and progressive change.
